Vol.6 15-year-old indigo-dyed handwoven cotton

Vol.6 15年の時を経た藍染の手織り綿

For the past 20 years, I have been working on Mouge's works.

Mr. N is having fun.

The other day, I went to the Jiyugaoka store while taking a walk.

When you stopped by

This "indigo dyed handwoven cotton jacket"

It was a traditional Japanese meal.

Without thinking

"The texture of the fabric has improved.

In your own style

You seem to have settled in well.

It's wonderful!"

I couldn't help but call out, ``Thank you!''

Sadly, in my hands

Such a good quality fabric

There is no trace or shape left of it.

Organically grown cotton,

Harvesting while being pricked by thorns,

Hit it with a wooden stick to remove the seeds.

Cotton is spun into thread on a spinning wheel,

After dyeing with indigo, it is woven into cloth.

Through slow and steady work

It's the fabric it's made from.

In today's world where everything is mechanized

It could be said that it is the complete opposite world.

That's why we want to cherish

There is.

It was a deeply moving moment.

Mr. N wore this indigo-dyed jacket.

From strangers when you go out

Sometimes people ask me, "Is this handwoven?"

I heard that often.

With people who share common interests

Enjoy conversation through clothing.

Help to make you smile

I'm grateful that I can do this.

Clothes with heart,

This is how a conversation starts, sprouts, and leads to a relationship.

The past 20 years have flown by in the blink of an eye.
