Sashiko stitched clothes
We recommend basic brushing and drying in the shade .
If you wish to wash it, we recommend dry cleaning .
This time, we will introduce the owner's favorite sashiko stitch cotton blouse.
I did an experiment to see what happens when I wash my hands.
The condition is that it does not have a cupra lining .

All you need is a bathroom sink or washtub.
Neutral detergent available on the market. Several bath towels.
A flat drying net or a hanger with shoulders.
Bathroom sink or
Prepare a washtub with lukewarm water (36 to 38°C).
This time we will use a commercially available neutral detergent that can be purchased at a drugstore.
Use 4ml of neutral detergent for every 10 liters of lukewarm water.
The amount varies depending on the detergent brand.
Check the amount of detergent to use on the back of the packaging.
Add the detergent and stir quickly to create a lather.
When detergent ingredients are evenly distributed
This makes it easier for the detergent ingredients to penetrate evenly into the fabric.
You also don't have to worry about the fabric being damaged by undiluted detergent.
Fold the blouse and soak it in the detergent solution.
Gently press and wash the garment about 15 times.
Rubbing or rubbing can damage the fabric and threads.
Please be aware that this may cause color unevenness.
Squeeze out the detergent ingredients.
Rinse with different amounts of lukewarm water.
Gently wash until the detergent ingredients are gone
Shake the blouse while washing.
Rinse and gently wring out the clothes three to four times.
Spread out the bath towel and shape the blouse before pinching it in place.
Transfer the moisture from your blouse onto a bath towel.
Tap lightly.
Fold it into thirds and pat it again.
Change the towel two to three times.
Repeat until the blouse is no longer dripping.
Holding the shoulders of your blouse wide
Shape the garment, spread it out on a flat drying net and dry it in the shade.
If you don't have a flat drying net,
Get a hanger with shoulders.
Simply wrapping a towel around a regular hanger will also work.

Turn the fabric inside out and dry in the shade.
Most of the fabrics used for sashiko are dyed with natural dyes.
To prevent the fabric from fading, it is recommended that you dry it indoors.
It is recommended as it does less damage.
Using a fan or air circulator
It will not dry out and you can wear it comfortably.
During the manufacturing process, the fabric is washed 2-3 times before being sewn up.
Since it is cut after shaping, it can be washed as clothes.
We've made sure it doesn't shrink .
However, after repeated washing
The texture of the thread will disappear and the fluffy texture of the sashiko will be lost.
Please brush your teeth as often as possible.
