This is a magnificent piece that took a long time to create, with the entire fabric embroidered with 12 strands of ivory-colored thread on brown mud Oshima Tsumugi.
By piercing the fabric with needles at 5mm intervals, we created a textured finish that gives the piece a heavy, luxurious feel.
